Coast to Coast: On Tour with JJ Pieman

Soooooo, It's been awhile since I've had time to share my latest touring experiences with any of you...

I've been out with Chairlift on this tour since the 5th of September. Ascended up to NYC to embark on a tour that took me down the eastern seaboard to ATL where we got to spend a few hours at the world famous Clarmont (where strippers go to die)... Saw the world famous "Blondie" 55y/o+, 5'3" weighing in at a mere 250lbs, AND, she's BLACK!... She's very well known for crushing cans of pabst between her gigantic tripple d's for usually around a $20 spot! Good times.

Saw some of my favourite faces when we briefly swung thru ATX a couple weeks ago! xo's to those who were able to come out!

Swung thru the desert then bolted over to San Diego to begin our ascent up the west coast via LA, SF, Portland (Big ups to Sassy's neighbor of The Holocene!!!), and Seattle where John Maus played an epic show at some disgusting punk club where he punched some guy in the face mid set!

We then hightailed it to Minneapolis to join up with Phoneix to start that leg of the tour! Jackie Jean was in high gear! So AMAZING to see that wonderful human being! so much love to that girl!

Just to open the door to some of you on what my life consist of for the next 6 weeks...

After the second gig with Phoenix in Chicago at the beautiful Aragon Ballroom we hightailed to Madison Wisco to link up with Micachu and her lovely Shapes! Amazing group of kids! and twas a pleasure getting to mix the front of house sound for them for a few days (my job).

Juggled a couple more gigs with Micachu in the midwest an then hightailed it back to the east coast where it all picks back up to the present as I sit at this Hyatt in downtown Philly thinking about all of my amazing friends that are a little too awesome for their own good... We had a day off today and went and checked out Chairlift homies MGMT and had a nice little after show shabang with the MGMT boys...

Floating down the east coast this week with Phoenix then we hop on board with The Killers to do some arena dates in Florida until I make one of my last appearances in ATX before I embark off to NYC on the 9th of October to check a few things out indefinitely.
